Amelia Arts Academy is focused on our community. We are open to volunteers of differing skills to assist with special events, office operations, and art reach. The only thing we require to volunteer is a love of the arts! Contact us at (904)277-1225 to find out how you can help.

This is an exciting time to be a part of the Amelia Arts Academy! Not only is the enrollment in arts programs the highest it has ever been in the 15 years since its inception, but the Amelia Arts Academy has also expanded to Callahan, where "Academy West" opened in 2006.

Experiencing the power of the arts is an important way to support Amelia Arts Academy. Be a part of our mission by attending our cultural events, taking art classes, music and dance classes, or private music and art lessons.

Donate

Private support is essential in providing financial stability for non-profit organizations such as ours. The monies we seek from grants, foundations and corporations are shrinking, and we need your help more than ever to keep arts education alive and accessible in our communities.

Make a donation online today. $50 can provide tuition assistance to a student for one month. $1,000 provides a full one-year scholarship to a child that would otherwise have the opportunity to experience the power of the arts. A larger donation of $5,000 or $10,000 can provide cultural events, outreach, and sustain the offerings of Amelia Arts Academy.

In-Kind Donations

Donations of goods and services are essential. We greatly appreciate in kind donations, as they help us reward our students, host special events, and are extremely valuable to the everyday operations of the Academy.

Planned Giving

Carefully structured planned gifts help to sustain the offerings Amelia Arts Academy while simultaneously providing many benefits to you. The benefits of making a planned gift can include:

charitable tax-deductions that reduce your income tax
avoiding capital gains tax on appreciated securities
an income for you or your beneficiary for life

In Honor or In Memory

Every day more and more people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, holidays, memorials and many other occasions.

You can always make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone any time you donate. Please note that you will receive the tax receipt and benefit. We will send a card notifying either the honoree or the deceased person’s family that a gift was made in their honor.

Stocks, Securities and Mutual Funds

Many donors support Amelia Arts Academy with gifts of stock or mutual fund shares. These gifts may enable you to realize tax benefits.

If you own appreciated securities (stocks, bonds or mutual funds held by you for more than one year), donating them to Amelia Arts Academy may allow you to reduce or avoid more capital gains taxes and receive a federal income tax charitable deduction.

You can designate Amelia Arts Academy as the beneficiary of your securities; please contact your broker for more information.

Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift to:
The effect of your gift to the Feeding America may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
If your company does not currently match employee contributions, try speaking with your Human Resource department and let them know the issues you support. You can ask them if they would consider changing their matching gift policy.
