Office Assistant
Amelia Arts Academy is in need of volunteers to assist with data-entry, answering the telephones, filing, and other office tasks.

Teacher’s Aids
Teacher’s Aids help in art and music classes by assisting the teacher with students and their projects. We require all adult volunteers that work directly with children to be finger-printed and have a background check run through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The fee for this is $50, but the joy you will get from spending time with children immersed in the arts is priceless!

Academy Ambassadors
Beginning, intermediate, and advanced musicians are invited to participate in the Academy Ambassadors program. Musicians practice independently in groups to build repertoire and represent Amelia Arts Academy in the community by playing at events, assisted living facilities, and more.

Arts Academy Advocates
Short on time, but still want to help? Advocating for the Arts Academy is a valuable job. Help us pass out flyers, post posters, fold and stuff mailings, and – most importantly – spread the word about the important work we are doing at Amelia Arts Academy.

For Kids

The Academy Street Team
A fun volunteer opportunity for kids! Join the Academy street team and earn valuable volunteer hours for NHS, Bright Futures, or college admissions – the easy way! Members of the Academy Street Team help promote Amelia Arts Academy by passing out information at the places they go anyway. All you have to do is pass out flyers and spread the word at sporting events, parties, to your friends, and anywhere else you can think of.

Musicians
Amelia Arts Academy is always in need of musicians to volunteer. Currently, we need musician volunteers for the following:

• Performances and workshops for students
• To join the Academy Ambassadors
• To help direct and organize the Academy Ambassadors – a group of children and adult musicians that represent Amelia Arts Academy to the community
• In-school performances and programs

Artists

Amelia Arts Academy is always in need of artists to volunteer. Currently, we need artist volunteers for the following:

• Demonstrations and workshops for students
• In-school programs to promote the arts
• Donations of works for silent auctions, etc.
• Assistance in hanging and coordinating art shows
  

Your volunteer hours at Amelia Arts Academy may count towards Bright Futures Scholarships. National Honor Society, community service, and even tax deductions.
